Our Process

We want to create a strategy that tells your story, not just any story. That means getting to know you first – why your organization exists, what drives you, and how you’re different than the next guy. Then, of course, comes the question of what you are trying to accomplish. Are you ready to develop a comprehensive communications plan, or do you just need some short-term help with specific marketing tasks?

For communications strategy development, there is no one-size-fits-all approach. We work with you to identify your goals, audience, and key messages first. Then we analyze your current marketing efforts and develop a plan specific to your organization and the story you need to tell. The whole process takes four to six weeks on average from initial meeting to delivery of the final plan. Once the plan’s in place, it’s time to execute, evaluate, and adjust, if needed. Already have a plan in place? We’ll work with you to review and revise the plan, if needed, then support you in making it all happen.

For clients who need help with more specific marketing tasks, the process is pretty similar. We’ll talk about your goals for the project, the audience, and the key messages. Project timelines vary greatly depending on the overall project scope, but once we know a little more about your project, we can estimate how long it will take.
